This pooch is still looking for his PERFECT forever home!
Can a dog be both handsome and a cutie-pie? Chichi says YES!
Chichi (aka Cheech or Chewie) is a very smart puppy learning to be a well-behaved dog! This pooch is full of personality; his happy and excitable nature = constant reminders to stay calm & four-on-the-floor when greeting new people! But Chichi is very smart & loves to please, and will flourish with the proper guidance & a family willing to teach him all he needs to know.
Playful, fun and active are all perfect words to describe Chichi. He would love nothing more than a family that will do things like:
– to take him on adventures,
– play fetch,
– socialize, and,
– long walks on the beach (or a park)/hiking/biking/jogging!
Could you be the life-long love this boy has been looking for?
Breed: Terrier/Wire-hair mix (unknown breeds)
Colour: White with apricot markings
Age: Approx. 1 year young!
Size: Medium/slender build, about 30 pounds
Sex: Male, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped
House trained: Yes — I am still young & will benefit from a routine, my crate when not being supervised, and continued training.
Crate trained: Yes — I sometimes make some fuss because I am SUPER excited to come out and greet you! My foster parents wait patiently for me to settle and then I come out calm, happy & respectful! Due to this, I might not be best in homes that have issues with noise (like apartments).
Loose-leash trained: 99% of the time I am a true gentleman — but I would benefit from continuous practice, as I love to explore with my nose! I get better each day, and I am very smart!
Commands: I’m learning my basic commands with repetition & continued practice — did I mention I love food? — Fun fact: I know how to use a treadmill too!
Dogs: Yes — I am young and can be a bit rough & vocal, so not all pups will enjoy my extrovert attitude!
Cats: Yes — I may not have prey drive, but I am still a puppy who loves to play. I would benefit from a dog-friendly cat, or a family who will continue to teach me to ignore the kitty in the house.
Children: Mature children only please. I have puppy-habits like jumping and mouthing that I have to remember are not welcome for small humans!
