Lucky is seeking his new forever home!
Lucky is a mature, 10-year-old boy that would love a quiet home, a warm bed to sleep in and
One thing is for sure about Lucky – he’s no couch potato! He enjoys nothing more than going for his daily walks and can keep going for far longer than you would expect from a little dog. Lucky will need a family who can keep him active and wear him out enough for him to snooze all afternoon long!
Lucky is a dog that takes some time to warm up to people. His new owners should expect to give him his space for the first couple of weeks until he gets used to you and learns that he can trust you. If you push him too fast too soon, Lucky has been known to nip, so he will need a confident owner too. As such, Lucky is not a dog that would do well around young children. Lucky also has some separation anxiety, so he is really looking for an owner who has the time and patience to help him work on his confidence and overcome his anxieties. A detached home would also help with his barking too!
That being said, once Lucky has learnt to trust you, he can be a sweet little dog looking for nothing more than some snuggles and some attention! If you are willing to put the work in with him, we are sure that this cute little guy will give you all the love you need in return!
Overall, Lucky’s ideal home would with someone who lives in a detached house and leads an active lifestyle. Someone who has experience in dealing with separation anxiety, or someone who is willing to get training for Lucky in this, would be excellent for this old boy. A home without children is also a must, as Lucky can nip when nervous or startled.
We know that Lucky does need a special home with a special person who has the time and dedication to help him overcome his anxiety. But we also know that his perfect home is out there somewhere!
