Hi, I’m Apple! I’m a super-smart, super-sweet little pup who’s learning new things every single day. I greet my humans with a very happy, very wiggly tail, and I’m trying hard to remember that jumping up is not polite, even when I’m excited!
I’m still a baby, so the world can feel big sometimes. If something startles me, my first instinct is to bolt, so my foster family is very careful to keep me secure on my leash and collar. Once I realize everything is okay, I bounce right back. I’m curious, brave, and eager to explore.
I’m crate trained and sleep well after a few minutes of little complaints. I’m also learning beautiful mealtime manners: I sit, wait patiently, and only start eating when I hear “okay.” My foster family says I’m very smart and love working with humans, so training is fun for me.
Because I still don’t have all my vaccinations, I haven’t had official walks or met other dogs yet, but I do little backyard “adventure walks” on leash. I’ve already play-bowed at the resident cat. I think I’d love having furry friends once I’m allowed to meet them! I’m gentle and friendly with everyone I’ve met so far.
I’m working hard on housetraining. I’m still very young, so my humans stay on top of my schedule, and I’ve even started asking to go out: as long as you notice my cues!
My ideal home? Someone who wants a best friend they can teach, explore with, and grow up beside. I’m affectionate, smart, and ready to be someone’s little adventure buddy. I can’t wait to see the world outside my bubble with you!
