Hey! I’m Kamik, retired sled dog and friend to all. I’m good with humans, dogs, and cats. Another dog in the home makes me feel much more comfortable, but since I’m an older guy, the dog(s) must be calm please! With humans, I’m pretty gentle. I like to wag my tail when I see my foster family and I do like attention but am a little bit awkward. I’ll come stand by you to ask for pets.
I do have some separation anxiety but thanks to the hard work of my fosters, I can be left alone now but only for short amounts of time, please! I prefer to have you around so a family that is home more often than not is best for me or I could go to doggy day care!
Once a sled dog, always a sled dog – I love my walks and get excited when you pick up my leash! I also love my hedgehog toy – I like to carry it around with me and I’m told that it’s pretty cute.
