Watson – Adoption Pending!
Posted on: April 27, 2018

We know this face is cute — but please read his entire bio before applying!

Watson is a young pup looking for direction, leadership and guidance! He would love someone willing to take the time to build a bond and his confidence. Though he takes time to warm up and become comfortable, he is a real sweetie who just wants to love you!

Watson is strong willed, and therefore requires an assertive handler that could also provide him a purpose/job: agility, scent tracking, etc. Breed or resource guarding experience is a MUST.

Breed: Cocker/Springer/Brittany Spaniel
Colour: White with apricot markings
Age: 2-3 years old
Size: About 40lbs
Sex: Male, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped
House trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes — he will go in his crate but he can be a bit noisy until he settles in. He is not recommended for apartments or attached housing!
Loose-leash trained: Yes, I have pretty good leash manners!
Commands: I know my basic commands, though it may take some food motivation until I build a bond with you. I can be stubborn!
Dogs: Yes – I prefer calm, gentle, independent and non-dominant dogs!
Cats: No — I am not aggressive or mean, but I do think these little furry things look like fun!
Children: Mature teens or adults only please! I have resource guarding issues, so my people need to understand my body language and boundaries.

Think you could be the home I need?
