Hi, I’m Ako! I am very friendly, affectionate dog who loves belly rubs, butt scratches, and face kisses. I love humans and all of the attention that they give me, the better! The only place I don’t like getting any attention, is at the vet!
I enjoy playing fetch with any and all of my toys. I’m a very food-motivated boy who, will only finish my breakfast or dinner if you place some liver sprinkles on top. I’m not shy about sticking my nose near food that you’re carrying or that’s on the counter so you should be sure not to leave any in my reach.
I’m still working on my walking, I do pull strongly and will sometimes suddenly pull stronger when something catches my attention. I don’t mind being in my crate and will give you cues (normally I pace) that I need to go outside.
I would be happy in a home with a lot of humans to give me a lot of attention. I would love having another dog around as long as they are calm and respectful, since I am more of a follower than a leader.
