– Alba had one suspected seizure prior to arriving in our care. She has not had any additional seizures since being with us, but we cannot 100% guarantee she will never have a seizure again. Adopters should be aware of and prepared for potential future treatment.
I’m a goofy, fun-loving, and playful puppy who adores both people and other dogs. I’m always up for an adventure, whether that’s heading out for a walk, playing in the yard, or curling up for a cozy nap during car rides. I have medium energy and do best when I get daily opportunities to run, play, and stretch my legs as it helps me fully relax and settle afterward.
One of my favorite things is being outside! When I’m let into the backyard, I leap into the air with pure happiness. Snow is especially magical to me! I love rolling in it, rubbing my belly, and just soaking in the moment like I own the world.
Like any puppy, I’m still learning my manners and basic obedience. Some experiences are brand new to me, including gently taking food from hands, but I’m making great progress. I am house trained and crate trained, though I may have a little fear of missing out at first, but I settle in and relax soon after. Continued use of my crate is important since I may get curious if left unsupervised. I’m also learning to walk nicely on leash and am doing very well with a slip lead as I continue to gain confidence.
My ideal forever home would be one filled with playtime, structure, and love, ideally with someone who is home often. I’ll need regular grooming to keep my beautiful curls healthy and tangle-free. I would thrive with an active family who enjoys daily walks and outdoor time. I love other dogs, so a friendly, playful canine companion would be wonderful, but I would also be perfectly happy as an only dog. As long as I’m well exercised and mentally fulfilled, I’m an easygoing and happy girl!
