Meet Hippo! Originally from Manitoba, he is now ready for his forever home. Shy at first, Hippo will play non-stop with someone once comfortable. Like most puppies, he likes playing with soft toys.
Hippo is house trained in his foster home but as he is still a puppy, adopters should be ready to re-train in a new environment. Leash walking is a work-in-progress. He is crated when unsupervised.
Hippo’s forever family must have the time and energy to train a puppy. Puppy obedience classes are highly recommended. Trainer recommendations can be provided by the rescue.
