Hi, I’m Seal, your future snuggle buddy, shadow, and professional shoe-side napper.
When you get home, I’m VERY excited to see you and I’m already pretty impressive about heading straight outside to do my business. I keep my kennel clean and try really hard to be a good boy. I love being close to my people and will often curl up by your shoes or rest my head right on you like a little weighted blanket with a heartbeat.
I’ve got medium-high puppy energy, which means I love to play, chew, explore, and learn but I also happily melt into cuddle mode and fall asleep on you when the zoomies run out. I’m very affectionate and people-focused. I learn quickly and enjoy training, I’m a smart little guy and like having clear direction and routines. I also hear I have the bluest eyes ever and some very cute, slightly confused floppy ears that don’t always match, I like to keep things interesting.
I’m crate trained, but I’m still working through being alone. I can get a bit worried if I’m crated without a person or another dog nearby and it can take me some time to settle. Because of that, I’d really love a home with another dog. I gain confidence from canine friends and learn a lot by watching them. Having a buddy helps my heart feel safe.
Like most puppies, I sometimes forget that toes are not toys but I redirect quickly when given something appropriate to chew. I’m doing well on leash with a collar, though most of my adventures so far have been in the backyard or quiet areas where I stick close to my humans.
My perfect home will be thoughtful, patient, and committed to continuing my training and confidence-building. Structure, companionship, mental stimulation, and loving boundaries will help me grow into an amazing adult dog. Bonus points if I get a dog sibling, I truly thrive with a furry friend nearby.
