Meet Desi!
Desi is a bright, quirky young pup with a big personality and an even bigger brain. She’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily with her silly antics — from excited tippy taps and happy bunny hops, to dramatic head tilts and her signature move of running into you before flipping upside down for belly rubs.
When she’s really excited, she even does a little butt scooch backwards like she’s reversing into happiness. She’s also known to “talk back” with soft little barks when she’s feeling opinionated — her adorable way of joining the conversation.
When you come home, Desi greets you with the cutest excited tippy taps while she waits in her crate, ready for her next adventure with you.
Desi can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, her fun and affectionate personality really shines. She’s incredibly smart and loves learning new things — whether that’s training, puzzle toys, or interactive games. Smart, driven, and eager to learn, she would likely love getting involved in dog sports with her future owner — agility, bite work, or other training-based activities would be right up her alley. She takes great pride in figuring things out and thrives with structure, routine, and positive guidance.
This clever girl is fully crate trained and house trained, and she’s doing well learning how to settle and relax with the help of place training and clear boundaries. She’s still working on her leash manners, but she responds well to gentle leash pressure and enjoys engaging with her handler even when distractions are around.
Desi gets along well with other dogs and could do very well with a confident canine companion, especially one who can help show her the ropes. She would likely thrive in a home that enjoys staying active — she’d happily join you on hikes, outdoor adventures, or even recreational dog sports that let her use both her brain and her energy.
