Hi, I’m Sadie! ❤️

I’m a little puppy with lots of energy, lots of love to give, and a very special way of making sure you never forget I’m there. How? By nibbling on your feet the moment I see you! It starts out as little tickles, but sometimes my puppy teeth get a bit carried away. My foster is working on redirecting me to toys, and I’m still learning what’s okay and what isn’t.

I’m also your future little shadow. I follow my person absolutely everywhere, even to the bathroom. You won’t need to call me because chances are, I’m already right behind you!

Meeting new people can make me a little shy at first, but I warm up pretty quickly. I love playing with my foster’s six-year-old nephew, and since we both have lots of energy, we make a pretty good team! I love a good game of chase, too. If you start running, there’s a good chance I’ll be right behind you before you know it.

Of course, even a busy girl like me needs her beauty sleep. When I’m ready for a nap, I love curling up at my foster’s feet or settling onto their lap for some cuddles. I’m happiest when I can be close to my people, whether we’re playing or just enjoying some quiet time together.

I’m making progress with my puppy training! I know my name and will come when I’m called. I’m still practising my sit, and I’m learning how to play fetch. I’m pretty good at running to get the toy, but bringing it all the way back to you is apparently an optional part of the game for now. We’re working on it!

My crate training is coming along, too. I go into my crate on my own at night, although I may whine for about five minutes when I’m put in during the day. I also whine when my foster leaves the house, but I settle down pretty quickly.

I’m still learning about potty training and when I’ve tried wearing a collar and leash, I’ve pulled and tried to get out of them, so I’ll need patient training to help me become comfortable walking on a leash.

I’m looking for a family who has the time and patience to help me learn good habits as I grow. I’ll need plenty of playtime, mental stimulation, and training. I have so much puppy energy and curiosity, and I need people who are ready to help me channel it in the right direction.

I’m still a little girl figuring out how the world works, and I have lots to learn. If you’re ready for a devoted little shadow who will follow you everywhere, chase you around, curl up in your lap and keep you laughing with her puppy antics, I might just be your girl!
