Hi, I’m Coop, but my foster family also calls me Coopy or Scrappy Doo!
If you’ve just walked through the door, prepare yourself! I’ll be waiting with excited little whines, a wagging tail, and lots of kisses. If I’m in my crate, I’ll paw at the door until you let me out, and if I’m already free, you’ll probably spot me doing full-body wiggles in the front window before I race over to greet you. Sometimes I get so excited that I accidentally dribble a little… whoops!

I’m your typical happy puppy with bursts of playful energy followed by naps and cuddles. I love romping around with my foster dog brother, zooming around the yard, and splashing anywhere there’s water. As I’m getting older, I’m discovering that cuddles are actually pretty amazing too, especially after breakfast, when my people get home from work, or right before bedtime.

I’ve got a few funny quirks that make everyone laugh. If you grab a spray bottle (especially for doing hair), I’ll come running to investigate. I think toilet water is somehow more exciting than my water bowl, I love fluffing up blankets before I settle down, and I make the funniest grumbly noises whenever someone picks me up. New things can seem a little spooky at first, like vacuums or mysterious bags in the garage, but with a little reassurance from my people, I’m quick to realize everything is okay.
I’m crate trained and actually do really well. I might give a couple of little whines when you leave the house, but I settle quickly and sleep soundly through the night. I even know that “crate” means it’s time to head in for a treat!
I’m still learning all about the world. I eat my meals a little too enthusiastically, so my family has been teaching me to sit, stay, and wait patiently before eating. I’ve come a long way already! I’m also just starting to learn leash manners now that I’m old enough to explore. Sometimes I think the leash looks like a fun tug toy, but I’m catching on to “leave it” really quickly because I love making my people happy.
My dream home would be an active family that enjoys spending time outside. I’d love another playful dog to wrestle with, but I’m also happy entertaining myself with toys. I ride well in the car, love adventures, and would make an excellent hiking, camping, or beach buddy as I grow up.
Most of all, I’m looking for someone who will keep teaching me all the puppy things while giving me lots of love, patience, and belly rubs. I promise I’ll reward you with endless kisses, goofy antics, and enough happy wiggles to brighten every single day.
