Hi, I’m Oreo!
I’m a happy, energetic puppy with a very wiggly tail, lots to say, and a serious love for my people. I’m a HUGE cuddle bug and would happily spend my day close to you, but I also have plenty of puppy energy to burn!
I love playing with toys, running around, and being wherever my humans are. I’ve even become my foster mom’s little sous chef because I love hanging out in the kitchen while she makes dinner.
I have a few very important hobbies to watch for, including trying to climb directly into my food bag at breakfast and dinner, and hunting for leftover treasures in the dustpan.
I also have a pizza toy that I absolutely LOVE, and it will be coming with me to my forever home!
I’m a pretty funny little guy. I’ll talk back when you talk to me, I prance like a pony when I walk beside you, and I’m still figuring out how all four of my legs are supposed to work because I’m definitely a little clumsy! I even respond to nicknames like “Smoreo” and “oreoeoeoeo.”
I’m doing well with my crate training and can sleep through the night in my crate. I may bark or howl in the morning when I hear my foster getting up because, obviously, I have very important things to do!
I’m also still working on my puppy manners. I think hands make excellent chew toys, and I’m learning that toys are a much better choice. I’m also working on keeping my paws and voice to myself when I’m excited.
I’m doing well with house training and I’m getting the hang of walking on leash. I sometimes zig-zag right in front of my person because there are SO many interesting things to investigate, but we’re working on it!
My dream home would be one where I get lots of love, attention, exercise and opportunities to play. I’d be very happy living with another dog, but I could also be your one and only if you’re ready to give me plenty of interaction and exercise.
Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who wants a fun, affectionate, goofy puppy and is ready to keep teaching me all the important things I need to know as I grow.
