Hi, I’m Rhea! I’m a sweet and curious girl! I am still coming out of my shell, and I can be a little shy at first. You might find me sitting quietly in my crate or tucked away in a cozy corner, watching everything around me with my cutest stare. I love peeking out from the bedroom to see what’s happening, but if I realize I’ve been spotted, I might head back to my cozy corner. I’m still learning that the big wide world is a pretty interesting place and that I can trust my people to keep me safe.
I like chilling in my crate, and I’m very comfortable and happy sleeping there overnight or staying there when my humans aren’t home.
I’ve also made some really great progress with my leash skills. Now that I’m more sure of my surrounds, I’m learning to enjoy being out in the world, especially when we’re somewhere quiet and peaceful. I absolutely love walking beside the river, surrounded by trees, and I seem to have a real soft spot for mountains and water.
I’m looking for someone who will be patient and consistent in giving me the time and space to continue coming out of my shell while gently encouraging me to explore, be more active, and experience new things.
Having another confident, friendly dog could be wonderful for me too. I think I could really benefit from having a canine sibling or friends who can show me the ropes and teach me how great being a pet can be!
I’m not looking for a busy, go-go-go lifestyle. I’m looking for someone who will love me, celebrate my little victories, and help me discover the world at my own pace. I may take a little time to show you my full personality, but once I feel safe with you, you’ll get to see the silly, curious, and truly loving girl that I am.
