Hi, I’m Bulle! I’m a fun-loving, loyal girl with a big personality, a very cute wiggly butt and a serious appreciation for a good scratch. I’m also a true slow riser, I love my sleep and I’m perfectly happy taking my time getting my day started. But once midday rolls around, I’m ready to go and my playful side comes out! If you really want to see me in my element, bring me to the water! I love to swim and will shake with excitement as I wait to jump in.

I absolutely adore my people and I’m always excited to see them. When they come home, you’ll hear me happily barking from my crate while I wait for my big reunion. Once I’m let out, I’m all tail wags and excitement! I’m also very friendly when meeting new people and love being around my humans.
I’m a bit of a character around the house, too. I love bringing my toys to my people like I have an important job to do, and if I’m given the opportunity, I’m also a professional box shredder. 😂 I’m not destructive otherwise, and my crate is a comfortable and familiar place for me.

I can be a sensitive girl, though, and new or busy environments can sometimes feel overwhelming. When I’m nervous, I may whine, and I’m still learning how to handle exciting or unfamiliar situations calmly.
I can also be quite vocal at home when people or dogs walk by because apparently neighbourhood watch is my full-time job. We’re working on my barking and helping me understand when I need to speak up and when I can just let things pass.

When it comes to other dogs, I need some patience and guidance. I can become anxious or overwhelmed when seeing other dogs, and feel unsure how to react. With structured and consistent training, I am becoming more confident when passing dogs and learning to feel comfortable with pack walk. Slow, structured introductions are important for me, and I’ve made huge improvements over the last few weeks.

I’m looking for an experienced dog owner who understands that I’m a sensitive, quirky lab and is willing to continue working with me. Continuing with a certified, balanced trainer and following through with my training at home will be an important part of helping me succeed.
And if you’re looking for an active adventure buddy, I’m definitely your girl! I’d love a family who will give me plenty of physical and mental exercise. Hiking, running, exploring and getting out for adventures with my people sounds pretty fantastic to me. Oh and did I mention how much I love to swim?? I will tell you again just to be sure.

I’ve been friendly with kids that I meet on walks but have not had any kids in my home, but older, dog-savvy kids would be the better fit for me. Young children can be more unpredictable and loud, and I’d do best with little ones who are able to understand my need for space and calm, quiet interactions (especially initially).

I may need a little extra patience and structure, but I have so much personality to give in return. I’m loyal, silly, affectionate, playful girl and always ready to make my people smile. If you’re looking for a fun-loving Lab with a wiggly butt, an adventurous spirit and just enough neighbourhood-watch energy to keep things interesting, I might be your girl.
