Hi, I’m Leo!
I’m a 9-year-old guy with plenty of energy and a real love for getting outside. I’m mostly an independent fellow, but every now and then my playful side comes out and I’ll surprise you with just how much fun I can have.
Walks are definitely one of my favourite things. I enjoy getting out and exploring, so I’m looking for someone who will make regular walks and outdoor adventures part of our routine.
I’m a pretty independent guy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate my people. I’ll happily walk up to you for some attention, and I enjoy being part of your day. I’m looking for someone who appreciates an older dog with his own personality and who will give me plenty of opportunities to get outside.
At home, I snooze quietly in the crate overnight and when my fosters are gone after settling in from the initial transition. Out of the crate I am pretty chill, other than sometimes finding a toy to play with. I’m not a fan of other dogs getting in my personal space.
I’m good on leash and currently walk with a harness, making getting out for my favourite walks nice and straightforward.
I’m looking for an outdoorsy person who enjoys walking and spending time outside. A home with a backyard would be ideal, and I’d love someone who understands that even though I’m 9, I still have plenty of energy and want to enjoy life.
I might seem quite an independent fellow but I’m ready to be your walking buddy, backyard companion and occasional goofy playmate. ❤️
