Meet Billie! Billie is the sweetest girl and happiest when she is right by your side. She is a true companion dog who would gladly spend the whole day following her person from room to room.
She loves belly rubs and ear scratches and will soak up as much affection as you are willing to give. She also has a hilarious love of water and would happily hop right into the shower if you let her. She loves bath time.
Billie is always ready for a game of fetch and has a funny way of letting you know when it is time to play. Sometimes she tosses her toys herself and runs to get them again until you take the hint. She is also known to hop up on her back legs and lock eyes with you until she gets the attention she is hoping for.
She can be adorably sensitive and occasionally gets spooked by silly things like a strong gust of wind or an upside down trash can. Despite that, she is a quick learner and already knows several commands like sit, stay, down, and “time for bed.” Treats are definitely the way to her heart.
Billie doesn’t like cars (she’s okay with riding in them). Her fosters are working on reducing her reactivity towards cars, with improvement showing. She will bark and try to chase cars both on walks and through the window, especially when she is bored. She also likes to put soft things in her mouth and if they are small enough, she will eat them (tissues, hair scrunchies, etc.).
Billie is a loving, funny, slightly goofy girl who just wants to be close to her people. Whoever adopts her will gain a very loyal shadow.
