Hi, I’m Biscuit! I’m a sweet, gentle, sometimes silly guy who has really started to blossom in my foster home!
Like most dogs, I love it when my people are near me, but if you must go, I will greet you with the cutest little wiggle, whine and tail wag when you come home. I’ll patiently wait in my crate until I’m invited out, and then I’m ready for my favourite thing: Attention! I love being pet and will happily roll onto my back for belly rubs.

I’m a pretty chill guy as far as energy levels go. I enjoy walks, sniffy enrichment games and, most importantly, plenty of nap time. I’m a perfect gentleman on leash. I rarely pull. In fact, I love taking my time to sniff all the interesting smells along the way. Toys are still new to me, but I’m gradually discovering that they can be super fun! Did you know they squeak?! Who knew.
I like shadowing my foster people. Wherever they go, I’m likely to follow. Wait, I you want privacy in the bathroom? What on earth for? I’m very curious about laundry too, especially socks and t-shirts. I like to give them a thorough sniff before they make their way into the wash. And when evening rolls around, you might find me curled up watching TV. I’m particularly interested when there’s another dog on the screen!
I absolutely love other dogs, and will happily try to make friends with the dogs I meet on walks. Sometimes I’ll even whine if we turn around and leave one behind because, clearly, I wasn’t finished making a new friend. I’m also very interested in squirrels and geese. I’ll watch them carefully, but I don’t chase them.
I’ve come so far since arriving in foster care. I was scared of a lot of things at first, but now I’m gaining confidence and learning that new things aren’t so scary. I’m looking for a forever home full of patience, routine, and new experiences, where I can keep blossoming into my best self.

My crate training is still a work in progress. I don’t always love being asked to go in, so I need some encouragement. But once I’m in, I settle quite well after a bit of whimpering and a few little howls (just to pull on your heartstrings). Helping me continue to feel comfortable going into my crate will be important.

I’d do well with another friendly pooch to keep showing me the ropes, but I’m happy just to be your only shadow too. Gentle children would be just fine, or even a single person looking for a BFF. Ideally, I’d love an adopter likes a routine like me, appreciates naps and an early bedtime, and wants to continue helping me build confidence. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who loves belly rubs, slow sniffy adventures, reruns of Lassie, and following you absolutely everywhere, I might just be your guy!
