Hi! I’m Cider!
I’m a super sweet, wiggly-butt little lady who loves cuddles, dog friends, and being close to my humans. When you walk into the room, I’ll greet you with full-body wiggles and sometimes a jump. I’m working hard on “off,” I promise!
I’m a gentle girl with a calm, soft personality. I adore other dogs and always try to make friends. I love quiet little tug games, bouncing happily like a tiny kangaroo, and sitting close enough to my humans that I can sneak in head snuggles whenever possible. I also love watching the world go by: people, cars, everything. I’m still a bit unsure when cars drive past me, but I’m getting braver every day.
I’m not a fan of crates or pens, but if you gate me into a safe space, especially with another dog, I’m totally content. I’m doing great with potty training, too! I still need to go out every couple of hours during the day, but I can hold it all night long… as long as I’m cuddled in bed with my human. That’s my favourite place in the world.
Like any good puppy, I have a silly side. I sometimes “borrow” shoes or slippers and bring them to my bed, I don’t ruin them, I’m just a collector of treasures! I’m also learning better door manners because if you open it, I want to zoom out and explore. I pull a little on walks, but I’m improving every day. A harness helps me a lot. And I eat FAST so a slow feeder bowl would be perfect for me.
My dream home? One with another friendly dog. That’s very important for me, because I get anxious when I’m alone without a canine buddy. A fenced yard would make me so happy, and I’d love humans who are home often and want to snuggle, train, and spend lots of time together. I also really hope my new family doesn’t mind sharing their bed… I sleep best when I’m tucked right beside someone I love.
