Hi, I’m Desi! I’m a goofy, super-smart, chatty little pup with a big heart and a whole lot of energy. I’m a little nervous so I take time to warm up to new people, but once I trust you, I’m incredibly loving and loyal. To help bring out my confidence, having another furry friend around really helps!
I’m working on my confidence everyday, but I can get overwhelmed still sometimes. Quick movements and overly busy environments are still hard for me. My dream “forever family” will be understanding and supportive of me when the world can feel too big and scary sometimes.
I’m a busy girl who loves to learn and stay active. I adore puzzle toys, snuffle games, and anything I can dig around in. I also love to play tug and chomp on my chew toys! I would really thrive in a home with herding breed experience, as it can help me focus my energy a lot! I am also crate trained and enjoy my safe space!
I’m a quick learner and love training, especially when treats are involved. I know a lot of commands, such as sit, lay down, paw, no, come, go to bed, and more. I can’t get enough!
My perfect home is a quieter one, maybe a single person or a couple, without a lot of visitors coming and going. Kids might be too much for me right now unless they are very calm and dog saavy. I need my people to be patient, experienced, and committed to working with me. I thrive with structure, mental stimulation, and gentle support.
