Rescued last summer from Manitoba during the wildfires, this affectionate, bright, and resilient pup has been patiently waiting for his forever family for several months.
Dusty is an enthusiastic learner: incredibly smart, eager to please, and highly motivated. He adores his humans and loves exploring the world with them. Whether it’s a walk, an adventure, or playtime, Dusty is always excited to join in!
This sweet boy is very friendly, playful, and loving.
He is a year old, as he came into care last summer. He has worked hard on his separation anxiety and with the help
of training and the right medication he is thriving! He can be left home alone in his comfortable crate while his fosters are at work.
He is potty trained. Loves to play with his toys and out in the snow! He loves to be outdoors and go for walks. Right now other dogs on leash make him excited, especially if they bark at him he will bark back. He is in training to work more on calmness on leash. He’s a smart boy and making improvements! A structured routine in a new home will be needed. He is young so still needs some guidance to make good choices. He would do best in an active home who has dog experience to help him be his best self!
