Meet Elphaba! Elphaba is a smart, sassy, and spirited pup who keeps her foster family laughing. She’s full of energy, confidence, and curiosity. A classic busy puppy who’s always got something to do. She loves toys, tug of war, fetch, though baths aren’t her favourite.
This clever girl already knows a long list of tricks and picks up new ones quickly: sit, down, roll over, shake, spin, crawl, and more! She’s very food motivated and loves using her brain just as much as her paws.
She’s still just a baby, so Elphaba is learning all the puppy basics: gentle, off, patience, and slowing down at mealtime (she eats fast!). Like many young pups, Elphaba can be mouthy when she plays and explores. Her little shark teeth are sharp, so she’s best suited to a home without very young children. With patient guidance, continued training, and lots of appropriate chew toys, she’ll grow into a wonderful, well-mannered companion. She does great in her crate after a short protest, is doing well with house training, and loves to explore her world.
Elphaba would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her energy and give her lots of mental and physical enrichment. She might not be the cuddliest pup right now, but she loves being near her people and is full of affection in her own bouncy, goofy way.
