Eva is a gentle soul. Her eyes will turn you into a puddle. Originally from a puppy mill (mom to pups Jack and Jill who were in our care), Eva is slowly learning about the world around her. She doesn’t love going for walks and is afraid of loud noises, like busses, outside. She does enjoy walking in quiet areas. Because of her nervousness, she takes a while to find a spot to go to the bathroom. In the first couple of days with her foster, she had some accidents in the house because of this but housetrains quickly once settled. A house with a backyard in a quiet area would be ideal for Eva.

Eva is a friend to all and gets along well with dogs and cats. She can initially be a bit timid but warms up quickly to both men and women. She seeks out pets and likes to be wherever her fosters are. She is very socially motivated but does not get jealous when the attention is not on her. When Eva gets comfortable, she will give you a goofy, toothy grin to greet you.  She is relaxed and non-destructive in the home. Eva is not a fan of car rides.

Eva needs a patient, gentle owner who will continue to help her slowly discover the world. She should be given space by strangers and allowed to approach them on her timeline. She should have a crate available to use as her safe space.
