Hi there, I’m Goose! 💛

I’m a curious, and clever young pup with big feelings and an even bigger personality! I’m about 9 months old, and I’m still learning about the world: one sniff, snack, and snuggle at a time.

I have that classic puppy energy: zooming around with full excitement one minute and curling up for a cozy nap the next. I love being the center of attention and would absolutely thrive in a home where I can soak up your love and maybe even show off the tricks I learn (because I love to learn, especially if treats are involved).

When you come home, I’ll be waiting in my crate, tail thumping with joy the moment I see you. I’m crate-trained and house-trained, and I settle down well on my own when you need to step out. I’ve also been told I’m very smart, I pick things up quickly and really enjoy training sessions.

I’m working on being more comfortable around things that make me nervous, like kids under 10 and bicycles (especially when they sneak up out of nowhere!). My foster family has been helping me practice staying calm when I hear children playing or when we pass bikes at a safe distance, and I’m making great progress. I’m also practicing polite behavior around other dogs, particularly when food is involved, and could possibly live with another calm, well-mannered pup if we’re introduced slowly and thoughtfully.

I’m currently living with an older, dog-savvy teen and a cat, and doing well with both! Apartment living isn’t the right fit for me. A calm, more predictable home environment suits me best.

I also do best with structure and clear boundaries. I’m adorable, yes but my family needs to be ok with me not constantly being picked up. I need to earn privileges like furniture access, and I feel most confident when I know what’s expected of me. I thrive with humans who can balance affection with guidance.

On walks, I do best when my humans stay alert to our surroundings and help guide me past things that make me feel unsure. The good news? I’m super food-motivated, which makes training easier and more fun for both of us.

My ideal home would be adults (or dog savvy older kids/teens) , with someone who understands sensitive pups or is committed to continuing my training with patience and positivity. If there’s another dog in the house, I’d need proper introductions and slow integration.

But if you’re someone who finds joy in helping a quirky, loving, brilliant dog blossom into her best self — I’m your Goose. 💛
