Hi, I’m Griffin! I’m a playful, curious, and cuddly pup who’s ready to grow up with my forever family.
When you come home, I get very excited! If I’m in my crate, you’ll definitely hear me yelp for you, and if I’m loose in the house I’ll dash to the door, tail wagging and paws ready to jump up and say hello. I love playing fetch, running zoomies in the yard, and following my people around, but after a big play session I’m happy to flop down for a nap.
Like any pup my age, I’ve got a few things I’m working on: I sometimes jump on people (and their clothes/furniture), I get mouthy during rough play, and I think kitchen chairs and couches are my personal climbing structures. But I’m also eager to learn! I already know “sit,” and I’m interested in learning more tricks, especially if treats are involved.
Crate training is a works in progress: I sleep quietly through the night, but I still protest when crated during the day. With consistency and patience, I’ll keep improving. I am also housetrained and don’t need anymore pee pads as I haven’t had any accidents! Walks are still new for me, but I’ll benefit from a harness and more practice once I’m fully vaccinated.
I’ve been great with my foster’s teens, snuggling and playing, but because I can be jumpy and mouthy, I’d need a dog-savvy family if there are younger kids.
My dream home? A loving, active family who’s ready to keep up with my energy, teach me manners, and enjoy all the joy (and chaos) of raising a puppy. A yard to run in would be amazing, but most of all I just want people who will embrace me, quirks and all.
