Medical: Marguerite is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and has had a recent dental cleaning. She would benefit from joint supplements. Diminished eyesight and hearing but does not affect her quality of life.

Marguerite is a velcro dog and loves to be beside her foster. She will ask for pets & attention but is also happy to nap while her foster works.
In true husky form, Marguerite enjoys her walks and can keep a good pace despite her age. She is curious about the world and loves to sniff and visit dog-friendly stores. She lets out little excited howls when her foster pulls her leash out to get ready for a walk. She does initially pull on leash and likes to meet both people and dogs on her walks. She has a tendency to excitedly rush at dogs so most smaller dogs do not appreciate her presence. Marguerite is equally happy to sit outside and people watch. Her ideal family is one that includes her on all of their adventures.
Marguerite is currently living with another older dog and gets along well with them. She has tried to initiate play but respected set boundaries when the other dog was not interested. Another respectful dog at home is fine, but Marguerite loves being the centre of attention so being an only pet would work very well for her.
Marguerite does not like being crated and will howl. A pet camera has confirmed that she is non-destructive and quiet when left home alone and loose. She will look for her human and then settle in for a nap. Marguerite goes up stairs well but will occasionally stumble either due to her limited eyesight or sore joints.
Marg deserves a home as sweet as her. To make up for lost time, and in her sweet old age, she deserves all of the love. She brings joy to those in her life and deserves the very best for her final years.
