Meet Mia!

Mia would be a wonderful match for someone who is willing to invest time and energy in her. She’s incredibly smart and learns quickly. Mia does require a lot of attention and engagement. She would thrive with someone who enjoys taking their dog out and about, and who doesn’t mind her jumping on the couch or bed—this seems to be a deeply ingrained habit for her.

Mia is very affectionate and loves human connection. While she’s curious about other dogs, at home she craves human attention. She has interest in dogs and plays really well with “goofballs” as well as balanced respectful dogs. She has a strong personality and would be a great companion for someone looking for a loving, clever, and spirited dog. Mia would be a great canicross partner since she loves both running and pulling!

Crate training is a work in progress. Mia knows that cute “crate” means to go in her crate and will easily go in but does not like to be crated when left alone. She is not destructive when left alone. She is also working on not jumping up to greet people.
