Hi, I’m Mike! A sweet boy from Mexico who’s happiest living a simple, peaceful life with his people.
When you come home, I get very excited to see you and am always ready for some affection and attention. Even though I can be energetic outside, indoors I’m honestly one of the easiest dogs you could ask for. I’m quiet, calm, relaxed, and very well behaved in the house. I don’t get into trouble, I don’t beg for human food, and I even put myself to bed every night like a responsible little gentleman.
Outside is where my adventurous side comes out. I absolutely love running through grass and exploring on long leash walks. There’s just something about having space to run freely that makes me so happy.
Even then, I’m still pretty easygoing on leash. I walk calmly in my harness without pulling and mostly just enjoy taking in the world around me. Sometimes squirrels, rabbits, or other dogs catch my attention, but I redirect very easily with some kibble or affection and settle right back into the walk.
I’m not the loudest or flashiest dog in the room, but once I trust you, I form a really steady and rewarding bond. I’m affectionate in a quiet way and genuinely love being close to my people. I especially seem to gravitate toward men, but I’m friendly and comfortable with everyone, including women, kids, and visitors. Kids at the park always seem drawn to me, and I happily soak up the attention.
I’m a pretty simple guy overall. Two good walks a day, two meals of kibble (my absolute favourite thing in the world), some grass to run around on, and a calm home environment are basically my dream setup.
I’m not interested in treats at all, but if you shake my kibble bag, suddenly you have my full attention. I also secretly have a soft spot for plush toys, which makes people laugh because I look like such an outdoorsy dog. Baths are easy with me too, I stand calmly and let you do your thing without any fuss.
Honestly, I just enjoy a predictable, low-drama routine and being near people who appreciate my calm and gentle nature.
