Hi, I’m Mindy! I’m curious, clever, sometimes mischievous one, and I’m always looking for my next adventure.
I’m a very active little girl who loves to run, wrestle and play with my puppy friends. I’m also incredibly curious about everything around me, which means I’m usually investigating something I probably shouldn’t be. I’m especially good at climbing, so my future family should be prepared for me to discover that things you thought were out of reach… maybe aren’t.
I’m a smart girl and I love figuring things out. I’m still learning all about boundaries, though, so I need reminders that cucumbers in the garden are not actually puppy snacks and that not everything I find belongs in my mouth.
I’m doing really well with my crate training and settling in nicely. Like all puppies, I’m still learning how to be the best little dog I can be, including working on my puppy nipping and learning when it’s time to settle down.
House training is going really well too! I just need my humans to remember that when I come out of my crate, I need to go outside right away. Leash walking is still a work in progress. I haven’t had much experience yet, and sometimes I think the leash is something to chew or decide that lying down is a perfectly reasonable alternative to walking. With time, treats and practice, I’m sure I’ll get there.
I love dogs, cats and kids, although I’m still learning that cats don’t necessarily want to wrestle with a puppy who is VERY excited to meet them. A little more practice and some supervision will help me learn to be respectful of my feline friends.
My dream home would be an active family who wants to take me along for adventures, walks and outdoor fun. Another playful dog would be wonderful, and I’d love having kids around too.
I need people who have the time and patience to continue my training and help me turn all this puppy curiosity into some excellent grown-up dog skills.
I’m smart, silly, and adventurous, life with me will never be boring!
