Hi, I’m Oscar, professional lounger, expert cuddler, and owner of the sweetest toothless smile you’ve ever seen (don’t worry, I still have some teeth, it just looks this way!).
When my people come home, you’ll either hear my tail thumping away with excitement from my crate… or you’ll find me still in full lounging mode, blinking at you from my bed like I’ve had a very long day of supervising absolutely nothing. There’s really no in between with me.
I’m a pretty low-energy guy who takes relaxing VERY seriously. My favourite hobbies include napping, staring thoughtfully out the window, cuddling as close to my humans as possible, and showing off my adorable curly tail. At bedtime, you’ll also get to experience my legendary snores… and occasionally my bedtime farts too. You’re welcome in advance.
I absolutely love my crate and see it as my safe space. When I first came into care, I spent a lot of time there to get comfortable, and would like this to continue in my forever home too! It’s where I go to relax and feel secure. I’m also happy to settle in there when my humans are away.
Walks are one of my favourite things to do with my person. I love to get outside to sniff around and take in the world around me at my own pace. I used to pull a bit, but since using a harness, I’ve gotten a lot better!
Honestly, I think my dream life would involve a lot of outdoor time where I could spend hours watching squirrels while soaking up the sunshine, whether that be on a balcony or in a backyard. When I’m not outside, I’d also love to be around my people! I’m an affectionate, gentle boy who really thrives with people who love to cuddle as much as I do.
