Hello, I’m Rogers! I’m a pretty chill dude who loves to be around his people and follow them around the house, everywhere they go. You often can’t leave a room without me tagging along to see what you’ll be up to next. When I’m happy, I get little spurts of energy and playfulness.
I really enjoy car rides and joining you for any family adventure. My foster says I’m great in the car and I like to put my head out the window to smell all the smells and see all the things. Not to brag – ok, maybe a little – but I’m also a prince on a leash. I don’t pull or have any issues walking by your side.
I love all fruits and veggies! I’m not picky at all and love mango, berries, carrots and cucumber the best. I’m gentle with other animals (cats + even my foster’s chickens) but I’m still learning how to be gentle when taking a treat…Oops, watch your fingers! I don’t hurt/bite when taking a treat, but I’m fast and will put all your fingers in my mouth.
I LOVE to sleep in and sleep near my people, but I haven’t really figured out how awesome dog beds are yet.
I’m working on my barking, which I do when I want to play or have your attention. Because of my age, I also need a little help getting into the car/jumping on beds or couches.
I need a home where I can hang out with my people and be given lots of love and attention. I’m sweet and loving and would enjoy a home where I get lots of pats and scratches in return.
