Meet Scout! Recently pulled from a puppy mill, Scout settled very well into his foster home. Scout is living with a dog sibling and loves him.
Raised appropriately, Scout can live with dogs, cats, and kids.

Scout is doing well with his house training! He will have the odd pee accident on a puppy pad when his fosters don’t get to him fast enough. He will go to the door and cry to go out. He’s mastered stairs in and out of the house as well as the stairs to the basement, although he is still clumsy.

Scout is described as a very sassy, but very good, puppy. He eats very well – if he’s full, he’ll leave kibble in his dish. He loves everyone he meets and will flop, show his belly and wiggle at their feet.

Scout really loves being outside and will run around the backyard as long as you let him or even just lounge in the grass. He does need to be supervised as he loves to chew on plants and sticks.

Scout is a very vocal puppy so apartment living is not for him. He does sleep through the night unless he’s uncomfortable. He’ll “complain” while repositioning then he’ll go right back to sleep.

Puppy training classes and experience with puppies are recommended.

Please note that since Scout is from a puppy mill, we have very limited information about his parents. He is expected to grow into a medium/large dog.
