Tanner is the sweetest boy and will be your shadow. He loves being close to you at all times and and will “help” with all your daily activities. Don’t let Tanner’s age fool you, he is spritely for an older gentleman! Although Tanner loves his walks, he’s also happy to relax with you at home and grunts like a little piggy while trying to find the perfect cozy position to loaf in. Outside of the house, Tanner prefers to enjoy the sights and scents of the outdoors over going for long walks; sometimes he likes to just sit and take in the scenery and get attention from passersby. Tanner loves using his nose and enjoys puzzle games where he has to figure out how to get treats using scent.
Tanner does have separation anxiety. He will whine and bark when he knows you are leaving the house but will settle after a little bit. He is slowly but surely improving with this and I have no doubt will continue to get better at being left alone with time.
Tanner will occasionally pull on leash but is great for a hound and is easily redirected.
