Hi, I’m Vixen! When you come home, she will quietly wait in her crate until you let her out, then she’s all over you for scratches. Vixen is house and crate trained.
She loves to play snuffle games, chewing on her antler and playing tug. She is scared of squeaky toys! Even though she has the occasional zoomies episode, Vixen enjoys a nice, long nap. She knows how to sit, lay down and give paw, currently working on stay.

Vixen is a huge cuddle bug, all she wants is love
If she could lay in bed with you all day getting pets, she would! She is generally very quiet and gentle, but she does get the zoomies which involves her rubbing her head all over your face, as if she’s a cat![]()
She and her foster are working on various aspects to help improve politeness in and outside of the home. Vixen can have episodes where she can be playfully nippy, but has been learning with redirection through play, snuggles or walking away. Vixen is also learning not to jump on people… it’s only because she’s friendly and wants to say hi, but doesn’t know how big she is still. Leash skills are a work in progress, but are improving. Her foster is practicing numerous manners exercises, and they are going well!

Vixen is obsessed with people beds, she is happy to sleep in her crate at night, but during the day she will try any trick she can to sneak into your bed for a cozy snooze. Placing her crate outside of the bedroom has helped deter her from going on the bed.

Vixen’s perfect home could be a family with kids, a couple, or a single person (as long as someone is patient and strong enough to work on her leash skills). It could be a home or apartment, with or without other animals but she would require her own quality time for attention and lots of time outside!![]()
