Yoink is a gentle, cautious little soul who’s just starting to find his footing in the world. He’s still learning that humans can be trusted, and while he might not come up right away, he’s happiest following the lead of other dogs in the house and watching how they interact. Having a confident canine buddy really helps him feel safe and brave enough to try new things.
He’s adjusting quickly to home life. Sleeping soundly in his crate at night (after a short whine or two) and making progress with housetraining. He’s not quite figured out how to ask to go outside yet, but he’s getting there, especially as his confidence grows. On leash, he’s learning fast and becoming more curious with each walk.
Yoink’s ideal home would be calm, kind, and understanding. One that gives him time to bloom at his own pace. He thrives in the company of other dogs who can show him that the world isn’t so scary. His future family should be patient and gentle, helping him build trust day by day.
